In 2017 ETANEXT was born, the research center that marked a revolutionary turning point in collaboration between clients and companies.
ETANEXT is much more than an innovative project: it is a dream realized, a laboratory of ideas where to design products and solutions and develop projects dedicated to our Business Partners.
This new research center, inaugurated in Canzo (CO) and equipped with area of prototyping and testing, has the ability to analyze, study and finally design the requests of our customers, to make them effective and efficient solutions, tailored through an analysis carried out by a method of logical sequence. The presence of a Quality and Security department allows us to keep pace with certifications, regulations and industry standards.
At ETANEXT our customers will find a team ready to respond and meet every new need, facing skill, creativity, inventiveness, intuition and passion typical of Made in Italy.
ETA is the global benchmark for industrial automation, energy distribution and IT solutions. We create products at HOC with a distinctive and ergonomic design, adhering to international standards in the sector, strictly Made in Italy with certified processes.
At ETA we do not find customers for our products, but we create products for our customers.

The foundation
Antonio Turati’s heirs found ETA. Production work begins at the Castelmarte site.
First products
The first numerically controlled machine is used. AR9000 is conceived, a very successful cabinet.
New Headquarter
The new headquarters are built in Canzo.
First web site
ETA débuts on the World Wide Web.
The ETA UK branch opened
The new logistics centre is inaugurated in Albavilla. The first configurator is introduced: ProntoQuadro.
Production of ARETA begins
The revolutionary concept of the modular cabinet.
First Award
ARETA wins the Electrical Products Award.

A new production centre is built in Asso.
ETA France is born
The ETA France branch is inaugurated.
ENSOL is built in Romania
The Canzo site is expanded. ENSOL is built in Romania.

The painting plant is inaugurated with cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
E NUX is born
ETA designs and introduces a new corporate logo.E NUX is conceived: a construction system with avant-garde materials.
ADI Award
The ETA handle is wins honourable mention for the Compasso d’Oro by ADI. A new department dedicated to stainless steel processing is inaugurated.
ENERPOWER is born
ENERPOWER is established, intended for the distribution of LV energy.
ETA presentation in Hanover
“Multiply the experience”. ABACUS, a system dedicated to networks and data centres, is introduced.
New production unit in Albavilla
The new Enerpower production unit is inaugurated in Albavilla. ETA offers products for four sectors: industrial automation, harsh environments, low voltage power distribution and networks for information technology, data and security.
ETA Next is born
ETANext is founded, the R&D laboratory of ideas and solutions where the products of tomorrow take shape. For the first time ever, the cathodic electro-coating process has been applied to the painting of enclosures. The system is DUP, double protection.The Canzo offices are expanded.
ETA Family Day
Forty years of the foundation are celebrated. ETA Family Day is organised, a reunion for all employees and their families.
New plants 4.0 In Albavilla
The new systems designed by ETA to build the E COR enclosures, with the concept of industry 4.0, come into operation.
